Spider-Man is so fast and agile that he can divert fast moving missles. Even though the Avengers and Fantastic 4 have the best security systems and have gaurds Spidey is moving to fast for them to get a visual on him and can't even tell who he is or what he is.
I think you have a GREAT concept here. I would say be more selective and make the layout more of a structured pattern with more quips. Also keep in mind, no one asked me.
I can't really choose one. To me, the fact that they're mostly full pages really detracts from your theme. If you were to choose panels or crop panels so that there was much more room to design a layout of your own, it would be superior. For example, take a standard checkerboard game and make the black squares pieces of art and leave the red squares red. Or situate smaller panels on a large background spiderweb. The comic art is already there, but YOUR art is going to come (on this project) from how you present the pieces you selected from Marvel. You want to minimize as much as possible other characters and panels that don't support your theme. If you can do that, your creation will be much more striking and it will be much more your own.
